My favorite place in the house is the terrace, which can be used in sunny weather from March to November and gives the feeling of a calm, green oasis. The master suite, with its warm and intimate atmosphere, as well as the ground-floor shower equipped with an integrated infrared radiator, also provide extra comfort every day. I chose this home because I was already very familiar with the neighborhood and enjoyed living there. The proximity of the train station was important to me, as was the favorable solar orientation.
I was looking for a contemporary home with a sense of warmth, which I found in the project by architects Defraeye & Vandervreken. The neighborhood offers many great addresses, such as Café Parti with its beautiful inner courtyard, the Spoorloos brasserie, the Limerick bookstore, and the packaging-free shop Ohne. For relaxation and physical activity, the Blaarmeersen are a major asset. What makes this location so special is the combination of peace and quiet, greenery, and proximity to the historic city center, as well as its excellent accessibility. I will certainly miss this pleasant, low-maintenance home, the friendly neighborhood, the neighbors, and the many transport and leisure options.
